The Technical Office of Prevention and Safety in Small Business CEPYME Aragon, under the actions developed in 2010 has published a "Technical Guide for the implementation of safety measures and technical regulations in work teams farming" which clearly shows the most common risks in the development of agricultural labor, safety measures to be taken into account, the regulations currently in force, and its practical application.
The agricultural sector has a high accident rate , especially with regard to fatal accidents. An analysis of this accident shows that are tractor and farm machinery main agents originating in the fatal and serious accidents, to which we must add the risks from handling of toxic products and deficiencies in use of personal protective equipment.
Despite efforts to prevent accidents in agriculture, daily experience shows that this is a field where much remains to be done. So is missing the availability of documentation, texts, manuals, etc. addressing the problems occupational risks and prevention measures .
