Synopsis

HISTORY START. Lemaître has left us an example of intellectual honesty, has opened the way to understand a little better the world in which we live: a vastly larger universe that we access through the knowledge of the extremely small, which leads us to overcome the paradoxes the existence of an initial physical instant, breaking with the static view of the cosmos that had until that time. And this was possible thanks to its healthy optimism, optimism that had its origin in God and the mysterious real-time who put their faith and to spread their scientific research.

Abstract

THE HISTORY OF THE BEGINNING. Lemaitre gives us an example of intellectual honesty. He has opened a way to understand a little bit better the world we are living in. An immensely big universe which is made accessible thanks to the extremely little. And this was possible thanks to his healthy optimism: optimism whose origin is in the mysterious and at the same time real God on whom he placed his faith and to whom all his scientific research was offered.

L’HISTOIRE DU COMMENCEMENT. Lemaître nous a laissé un exemple d’honnêteté intellectuelle, nous a ouvert le chemin pour comprendre un peu mieux le monde où nous habitons: un Immense universe in which we access through the knowledge of what is infinitely small.
This was possible thanks to Georges Lemaitre al'optimisme. Optimism which had its origin in God, both mysterious and real. He put all his faith in him and led him to all his research.
