5/10/2010 The "big bang" as the origin of the universe is one of those theories that are part of the culture of the time. But it is much less known than was made by Georges Lemaître (1894-1966), Belgian physicist and Catholic priest, who participated in the research of interest to the great physicists of his time. Although the current cosmological model has changed a lot since then, their example of intellectual honesty continues.
