The LGBT Lima has been shaken in recent weeks and has been the talk of many media, with two very controversial issues as political agenda. On the one hand, the upcoming presidential election is a proposal to introduce legislation on marriage between same sex, and secondly, has criticized the public meetings of several homosexuals kissing and taking samples of affection front of the cathedral.
I, as you can imagine I have an opinion. Then try to be very concise and as specific as possible.
1. With regard to the so-called Gay Marriage, of course I'm in favor of all (all!) Citizens have the right to access all (all!) Institutions suggests that our legal system.
Unfortunately, our Peruvian society is not yet released the load is the term religious. still hear voices of truth increasingly respected by the majority, who labeled the marriage as a union between a man and a woman, primarily reproductive purposes. Arguments like " God ... that nature ... the Natural Order ... "Bla bla and more blas.
I believe is necessary to focus the topic and give God what is God's and unto Caesar what is Caesar's.

I want to reaffirm, in spite of my strenuous Catholic education, we must separate the biological, the divine, of the moral, social and cultural.
We are not only biological organisms that have unique function, the reproduction. Nobody in this world has divine authority per se, despite being children God, we are human. No, no church, no force of power, may provide an overriding moral above the rest.
What did we all, is social beings. We live in a common village and supposedly we live harmoniously. For this, each human group is forging its rules according to their own existing cultural displays. Marriage in general, therefore, also is a cultural expression of a time and space. And the segment made up of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender also exists within this cultural context. We are part of this village and as such, as worthy members, we have the power to voluntarily enter the cultural expression called marriage, even though it has other connotations, religious, historical, moral or item that is.
Civil laws are to gather cultural and social environments, present all, common to all citizens.
